Maternity: The Burg Baby

My husband and I have known Kenneth and Nicole since they started dating. We were present at their engagement....their wedding, and we shall even be at their first child's birth. Front and center. In fact, they've decided to name their baby Janette...even if it's a boy. Sweet huh? Ok. Some of that was a lie. But we have known the Burgs for years. From single-hood to newlyweds to parents-to-be... It's been a blessing watching these two grow as a couple, both in marriage and in their faith. We're beyond excited to see them begin this new stage in life.... Parenthood! Congratulations kids!

I'm rooting for a girl;)

Maternity: Paul & Valery DoCampo

I still remember where I was sitting the day my friend Valery called and told me she was pregnant. (Ask me what I wore yesterday? No clue.) I also remember that right off the bat she asked me to do her maternity shoot. It wasn't really a question either, but that's what's great about good friends. They can read your mind.

Valery and her husband, Paul, are some of my favorite subjects to shoot. They're one of the most photogenic couples I know. Usually I photograph them randomly during our outings or double dates. So this time felt no different. Exploring a college campus with our friends while taking tons of pictures of them?! Just another Sunday afternoon for the Daneshmands.

As you can imagine, this session was a BREEZE and a BLAST! A breezy blast...A blasty breeze... Okay. You get the point...

Maternity: The Garcia Family

If I look half this good when I'm pregnant, I'm having 10 kids!! Andrea, a friend from my days at University (always wanted to say it like that), is expecting her second baby boy ANY DAY! We didn't even know if this shoot was going to take place... It's just that close! Now the thing I like about Andrea is that she's always been graceful, collected, and poised. Class project deadlines? Final presentations? Child labor? No worries! She's got this....
